Investment Dar: permission to transfer 36,315,308 Boubyan Bank shares to Category A creditors

After the official and legal approvals were completed, the bankruptcy trustees committee of The Investment Dar Company obtained the legal permission to transfer ownership of Boubyan Bank shares from two Investment Dar subsidiaries to the creditors who agreed to settle their dues under the ratified liquidation plan (Category A), in their own names or to their investment portfolios, as reported by Al-Eqtisadiyah newspaper.

The committee, chaired by Dr. Ali Owaid Rukheyes with Mr. Ahmed Duaij Al-Duaij and Mrs. Hanadi Humoud Al-Bader as members, has begun phase one of the in-kind distributions in implementation of the bankruptcy judge’s decision. The newspaper reported that a first transfer of 5,674,796 shares has already been carried out.
